BEATRIZ MIGUEL

PhD in Quantum and Computational Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Madrid (1992). Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) since 2011. She has carried out her research tasks at the Autonomous University of Madrid, the University of Alberta, the Université Paul Sabatier, the University of Murcia and the UPCT. Her research works are framed in the fields of Chemistry-Physics, Chemical Engineering and nanocomposites based on graphene. She has published more than sixty articles in scientific journals, has obtained two patents and has presented more than sixty communications in national and international congresses. She is a reviewer of articles in various high-impact publications and evaluates projects in calls for international R&D&I plans. She has participated and participates in numerous projects and contracts for research and technology transfer, both national and European.

GERARDO LEÓN

PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Murcia (1980). Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) since 2017. Second Vice President of the Association of Chemists of the Region of Murcia and Representative of the same in the National Association of Chemists of Spain. He has developed his research tasks in the UNESCO International Office, the University of Murcia and the UPCT. His research works are framed in the fields of physical-chemical study of fibrous proteins, racemic mixtures of amino acids, characterization of biofuels, separation processes using membrane technologies (reverse osmosis, nanofiltration and compact liquid membranes, supported and emulsified ), adsorption on carbonaceous materials, photodegradation of polluting organic compounds and nanocomposites based on graphene. He has published more than eighty articles in scientific journals, has obtained three patents and has presented more than one hundred communications in national and international congresses. He reviews articles in various high-impact publications. He has participated and participates in numerous projects and contracts for research and technology transfer, both national and European.

ISIDRO IBARRA

PhD in Industrial Hygiene (2003) by the University of Murcia. Director of the Technological Research Support Service since 2003 and of Occupational Risk Prevention Service of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) since 2011. He has carried out his research tasks at the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work, the Directorate General of Work of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the University of Murcia and the UPCT. His research works are framed in the field of Analytical Chemistry, Prevention of Occupational Risks and nanocomposites based on graphene. He has published more than fifteen articles in scientific journals, has obtained two patents and has presented more than thirty communications in national and international congresses. He has participated and participates in numerous projects and contracts for research and technology transfer, both national and European.

DOLORES OJADOS

PhD in Industrial Engineering (2018) from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). Director of the Industrial Design and Scientific Calculation Service of the UPCT since 2001. She has developed her research tasks in the company Técnicas Reunidas, Eymo S.A., General Electric Plastics of Spain, Siemens Group, the University of Murcia and the UPCT. Her research works are in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Engineering, Industrial Design, Rapid Prototyping by Additive Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and nanocomposites based on graphene. She has published more than five articles in scientific journals, has obtained two patents and has presented more than twenty communications in national and international conferences. She has participated and participates in numerous projects and contracts for research and technology transfer, both national and European.
